John’s role is to drive company growth by optimizing operations and technology that drive integration and innovation, manage risk, and align teams in facilitating sustainable growth and profitability for both advisor practices and Indivisible Partners.

John is a 30+ year veteran in financial services and wealth management leadership at Merrill Lynch with a reputation as a progressive thinker and agent for change. His eye on the future is driving the industry transformation he and the Indivisible Partners leadership team are implementing today: a change that puts the client’s best interests first and provides unsurpassed autonomy and support for advisor teams to deliver objective advice while forging trusting, long-term client relationships.

John has a lengthy track record in developing, implementing, and leading multidisciplinary cross-functional teams in delivering large-scale business initiatives. As COO of Global Wealth & Investment Management for Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, John helped lead the largest wealth management businesses in the world through unprecedented change, growing revenue to $18.5 billion and profitability to $4.9 billion while delivering industry-leading productivity, margins, and return on capital through disciplined strategy execution following the 2008 financial crisis. John was also Chairman of the Risk Management, Investment Management, and New Product Committees.

He built an industry-leading technology platform for advisors/clients that deployed a fully integrated suite of wealth management advice, guidance, planning, and reporting tools that supported a real-time, 360-degree view of the client’s financial picture. John also championed client experience standards and a goals-based advice model to support a best-interests advice standard for clients. It is this 30+ years of innovative thinking, leadership, and client-first focus that John brings to make Indivisible Partners a distinctive choice in wealth management.
