Tom FickingerFounder, Co-President Advisor Teams

Tom’s role at Indivisible Partners is to attract and retain an elite set of advisors, coach their career development, and provide guidance on the growth and succession of their businesses. Hiring, developing, and fully investing in advisors has long been Tom’s passion. Like his Indivisible partners, he firmly believes that by viewing advisors as your greatest asset and providing them the most innovative technology and hands-on coaching and guidance, advisors feel supported and empowered to spend more time with clients, driving the kind of desired outcomes that improve their lives.
Before joining Indivisible Partners, Tom spent 30 years at Merrill Lynch in many senior leadership roles, including the Head of Advisor Practice Management, Advisor Growth and Development as well as leading the Pacific Northwest division, which consisted of 1,400 advisors in eight states with over $1.5 billion in revenue. He also led the Bank of New York Mellon Private Bank in Northern California, and was the Head of Silicon Valley Private Bank’s West Coast division.
Tom’s prior experience allowed him to experience every kind of advice model and the challenges that come with them—from large brokerage firms to trust banks to regional banks. His belief that “there has to be a better way” led him to Indivisible Partners, where he is joined by a servant leadership relentlessly focused on transforming the advice industry for the better of advisors and clients alike.
